Lamp, or Lantern HourGlass is the new concept that almost turns the old sand hourglasses into an old piece of junk. Well, it’s “almost”, so that old sand hourglass still the best in term of art.
Hourglass lantern, designed by Young Bok Kim (Korean) is fully light driven to show the remaining “light of time” inside the hourglass.
Modern Hourglass Concept
To use this modern hourglass lantern, you’ll need just a simple twist to the preferred number and place it upside down to let the light flow from the top to bottom.

Although it’s not as realistic as Sand do, it’s still a good design in case there is no more sand exist in the future.
