I-O Data intros slim external Blu-Ray drive
I-O Data presented to us their first ever slim external Blu-Ray drive. With this slim external Blu-Ray drive, I-O Data helps Blu-Ray entering the mainstream market and reach more users in that level.

The snapshot above show us the slimness of the Blu-Ray drive, measuring in 138 (W) x 143 (D) x 21 (H) mm. I-O Data slim external blu-ray drive is using USB 2.0 interface with 4MB buffer memory. The reading speed of this disc drive is ranging from:
- Read BD-R, BD-RE and BD-ROM at 4.8x
- Write DVD+R/RW DVD-R at 8x
- Write DVD-RW at 6x
- Write DVD+R/-R Double Layer at 4x
- Write CD-R at 24x
- Write CD-RW at 16x
