ASUS, the top-notch motherboard manufacturer has pushed their new mATX Motherboard – the Rampage II Gene X58 to the official introduction. ASUS Rampage II Gene X58 mATX Motherboard is powered by X58 chipset, obviously clear written via the name of the motherboard.
The Rampage II Gene board is supporting the latest Intel Core i7 processors with a super-duper triple channel DDR3 memory features, two PCI-Express x16 slots for nVidia SLI or ATI CrossfireX. The board look solid enough to handle hardcore stuff, and the mATX (micro) form factor is pretty promising for saving up spaces inside your PC case. No price available yet, but should be around the line of 200 bucks or so.
