Samsung latest touch screen phones, S5600 and S5230 are going to hit Europe market this Spring. This news is brought to us by Crunchgear folks, these touchscreen phone is sure going to be the next generation standard of phone.
Both phones sport Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, and both have a couple drops of internal memories and MicroSD up to 8GB. They’ll play back videos of various formats, but the screens aren’t so hot and you’d burn through your battery.
They also both have a 3-megapixel camera with smile recognition, and built-in Shazam support for their music player. Both are quadband and support Bluetooth 2.1.
“Full Internet browsing support” is in the same sentence as “mobile Internet experiences,” so I can’t tell you whether it’s got a real browser or not. With a touchscreen phone I should hope so.

Both of them also feature a “gesture lock” which is a good new feature for touchscreen phone (not exist in iPhone or G1 yet). So what is gesture lock? Well, it’s a feature to either wake up your phone or lock it down by a certain gesture you draw on the screen. I guess iPhone would have one if somebody builds an apps for that purpose. But Samsung will be first to have it as their strong selling feature.
According to the specification, Samsung S5600 touchscreen phone has more / higher level in comparison to S5230. You will find a HSDPA, higher internal memory, but will a smaller screen size.
