Solar man, is not some type of superheroes such as Superman or Iron-man. Solar Man is a bike concept which is fully designed to harnessing the natural energy (Sun, in this case) using Solar panels to power up the micro engine inside the bike so you can get an electric bike similar to Electric Schwinn Stingray Bike.
The rest of unused power will be stored into the internal lithium-ion battery which is designed exclusively for the cycling purposes. You would expect for a heavy weight of this Solar Man. The total weight is around 12 kgs despite of its small form. Oh, did I mention it’s also a foldable bike, too?
Designed by Chen Weiping (Chinese I guess), this is one of sleek bike concept I’ve even seen. Unlike the last foldable bike (which I assumed unhealthy!), this bike has its own ergonomic factor and I felt positive with the additional features to dress up this bike.
