MSI has one cool ultra thin Notebook dubbed as X340. It has 0.79″ thickness and award as the world’s first thinnest 13″ notebook.

Note that this is not a netbook. Although nowadays netbook is only inch away in screen size (such as Lenovo IdeaPad S12), their specs is completely different.

MSI X340-021US notebook is powered by the latest Intel Penryn Core 2 Solo Processor with 1.4Ghz clock speed, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 320GB SATA hard drive, WiFi, bluetooth, 2-in-1 card reader, 1.3MP webcam, VGA port and HDMI port.

According to MSI, MSI X340-021US notebook consumes only 1/6th of other processor with Intel SULV CPU and thanks to the thickness, this notebook weighs in 2.86lbs only!
