Alienware M17x Gaming Laptop for Extreme Gamers

Talking about gaming laptop, I guess no one will be able to beat this new released of Gaming laptop from Alienware. Purely by its looking, it has crushed any of its competitor badly. Alienware m17x Gaming Laptop is really made for those who have lots of money to burn, and those who want to taste the real gaming experience using laptop interface.

It sure looks cool. But I’m kind of worry about the “thickness” of the laptop. But thanks to that thickness, Alienware M17x gaming laptop can have a ‘super’ gaming specification that no other laptop could reach.

The very basic specification of Alienware M17x (which cost $1,799) is including Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4Ghz, single NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 260M with 1GB RAM, 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHz, 250GB HDD, Vista Home Premium 64-bit and so on.

However, if you have the fund to spend, you can always boast it to the maximum specification (which I considered super – cost more than $5,000+!) using Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad QX9300 2.53Ghz, SLI Dual NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 280M with 2GB dedicated RAM, 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz, 512GB SSD RAID and Vista Ultimate 64bit.

Perhaps, the only downside I could find is the weight of the Laptop. Alienware M17x gaming laptop weighs in 11.5 pounds, which I consider heavy and will not be as mobile as you think. So buying Alienware M17x is equal to having a desktop system masked as a laptop.
