If you are one of the Gundam fans, then you wouldn’t want to miss this news. Japan, the country where Gundam-Nation was born, has created the real-looking life-sized Gundam Statue for the 30th anniversary of Gundam franchise. The following images will ‘kind of’ blow you away if you are die-hard fans of Gundam:

This Gundam is the RX-78 model, the most popular Gundam model in the series. Although you can actually find a plethora or descriptions and other models as well (from RX-78-1 to RX-78-8), this is the ‘ancestor’ of all.

There are fifty points on the Gundam statue will emit lights, and mists will shoot out of 14 different points on the statue.

The 1/1 scale Gundam boasts a movable head and a continuous stream of cool movement that will sure blow their fan out of the sky.

The celebration is going to be held on July 11, and be shown until August 31st. I’m not sure what kind of show the Otaku or die-hard fans will going to see and feel, but I really want to get a ride on this robot even I’m not Gundam’s fan! :)

You can see more image at Geekologie and even more Delicious Gundam images for Otaku at SankakuComplex.
