Cool Clock Made from Recycled Bike Wheel

by Ken on July 27, 2009

in Clocks/Alarms

Check out this cost effective clock made from bike wheel. It has a three clock needles, pointing at where it should but I think it’s a little bit confusing become you’ll never know where there are pointing at! No words, no numbering, just a plain bike wheel with torque German quartz clock.

The clock movement is a high torque German quartz movement and is attached to a set of rear cassette gears to conceal the movement. The movement is attached to the wheel by hanging it off of a screw coming out of the hub, and runs on 1 AA battery, included. The wheel measures roughly 22 3/4 inches in diameter.

Perhaps you should make a mark for yourself and then use the mark as your 12 o’clock starting point. But it’s all up to you. The rules is on your hand.

You can get it at Etsy seller for $109 a pop.
