BenQ has recently made an announcement of their new V-Series Eco-Friendly LED Backlit monitors. There are two series of it with different screen size. Starting from the V2200 Eco with 21.5-inch screen and V2400 Eco with 24-inch screen size. They’ve been some entry on the Eco-Friendly monitor, but I think this BenQ V-Series has the slickest design with cool navigation panel.
The LED monitor will enable you to display 1080p resolution or HD resolution with zero Light leakage. What’s amazing is, this LED Backlit LCD Monitor share the same 5,000,000:! dynamic contrast ratio as LG XCanvas HDTV and JVC LT-32WX50 LED backlight TV.
It’s impressive, but that’s not all of the story. Since BenQ entitled it as Eco-friendly monitor, this LCD monitor can even save up to 30% of power by managing brightness level, power and contrast setting with the absolute mercury-free LED-lit panels.
Beside the feature, BenQ V-Series has less weight and it’s also thinner in dimension. This allow a better and compacter packaging using recycled paper instead of Styrofoam.
BenQ also stresses that their thinner and lighter design saves on packaging, which itself has been revised to include recycled paper rather than styrofoam. Soy ink is used on the carton, with a set-up guide printed right on the shipping carton rather than a separate page.
BenQ V-Series LED-Backlit LCD Monitors will begin shipping in China in the middle of this month. But until today, the pricing is remain undisclosed.
