For the very first time, Nokia, the popular cell phone manufacturer has stepped into the netbook market firmly with their first Nokia netbook dubbed as Booklet 3G.
I’m sure Nokia is one of the best cell phone creator, but I’m kind of doubt when they are producing netbook. Although it is their first, Nokia claimed that the features on this booklet netbook is pretty ‘delicious’ for mobile users. According to the expert, it should be able to play HD content and Nokia Booklet 3G netbook will be equipped with NVIDIA ION graphics chipset.
The general specs that we have come to know is the Booklet 3G netbook is powered by Intel Atom processor, have a good 10-inch LCD display with HD-ready, 3-color choices, built-in A-GPS (also with OV Maps Software), HDMI out (see the picture below) impressive sounds quality, and outstanding 12-hour battery life.
As it has been named with ‘3G’, Nokia Booklet 3G has a built-in 3G/HSDPA connectivity and WiFi as the optional connection. That is the information we’ve collected so far. Nokia will reveal more details on the Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook on the 2nd of September at Nokia World. Up to date, there is no word on pricing and availability yet. This netbook looks promising, but let’s wait for a benchmark score before judging further.
