Sanyoa has announced what they called the ‘brightest LCD projector ever’ on Wednesday. It’s coded as LP-XU106, this portable LCD projector has a 4,500 ANSI Lumens, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 1.6x zoom lens and weighs in just about 7.5lbs.
If you want me to judge from the picture, I should say Sanyo has thrown away the design factor in this brightest LCD projector. Looks like a white box with rounded corner, not futuristic but classical. The LCD Projector has a corner keystone correction function so user can offset angles and adjust the screen on vertical or horizontal position without image distortion.
You can find one Ethernet Jack, two VGA inputs, single component RCA and S-video jacks on the rear panel. Sanyo LP-XU106 will be launched on November 20th in Japan with price $611. (via Akihabara)
