I’m not sure if this gadget is still necessary for us, but Sony has just introduced two more Portable DVD Players which I thought it has been overwhelmed by Netbook or Laptop with internal dvd drive.
The two models are DVP-FX730 and DVP-FX740DT, both has been revealed in Japan and they have 7-inch screen to be able to display 480×234 resolution. The Portable DVD players will support all DVD format such as DVD+R/RW/R DL, DVD-R/RW/R DL, 8cm DVD+/-R/RW as well as VCD, CD CD-R/RW, and they are also MP3 and JPEG files friendly.
Sony Portable DVD players also equipped with 1Seg Digital TV tuner so you can watch TV channel while on the go. The Sony DVP-FX730 will be released on 16 October in four colors, Blue, White, Pink and Red for 22,000 Yen, meanwhile the DVP-FX740DT will be available on 5 September in Black for about 40,000 Yen.
