Buffalo Intros HD-PVU2 Slim Portable Hard Drives

Fans of Buffalo hard drives? If so, here is a news for you. Buffalo has introduced another four series of new slim portable hard drive with just 16mm in thickness. It seems there is no more Shockproof technology embedded like the Buffalo HD-PXU2, so this model might be as fragile as the other hard drive in the market.

The largest capacity of this HD-PVU2 is 500GB, but it’s also available in 320GB. Two colors of black and white available for both models, and they also comes with eco-Manager software to automagically turn off the hard drive when it’s not in use or idle mode.

Buffalo drive has the usual 3-years warranty, and it’s already a USB 2.0 interface (that’s for sure!). Buffalo HD-PVU2 Slim portable hard drives will be available in Japan with the MSRP as follow:

  • HD-PV320U2-BK – 320GB Black – 10,000 Yen
  • HD-PV500U2-BK – 500GB Black – 14,600 Yen
  • HD-PV320U2-WH – 320GB White – 10,000 Yen
  • HD-PV320U2-WH – 500GB White – 14,600 Yen

Too bad, no news when it will hit America. Perhaps you should wait another month or two…
