Palm Intros Palm Pixi WebOS Smartphone

Yesterday, Palm has make an announcement of their latest webOS based device which is entitled as ‘Pixi’, which according to the news the device is cheaper than Palm Pre and it has no slide-out keyboard.

This smartphone have the look of the next generation Treo, Palm Pixi comes equipped with multi-touchscreen, 2MP of camera and 8GB memory. You can find GPS but you won’t get WiFi because Palm drop it for cost cutting move. The Pixi smartphone will get a pre-install new Facebook app, and you can integrated with Yahoo contacts, IM, calendar and LinkeIn in single view.

Palm Pixi WebOS will be priced around $99 (estimation only) but there is no certain info on it yet. According to our source, Palm Pixi will be released in time for the holidays, though no one know which holidays they are pointing at.
