Kohjinsha Show Off Dual-Screen Netbook

There are lots of Dual screen gadgets popped up recently. It seems Kohjinsha is also want to grab those attentions so they also launched a dual-screen netbook with sliding mechanism.

We have seen the dual screen laptop at the CES 2009 from lenovo or the latest GScreen Dual screen laptop. Those share the same functionality, but the Gscreen version has the closest similarity.

Kohjinsha dual screen netbook has two 10.1 inch LCD displays, practically doubled the wide of the normal netbook screen size. The screen can help you display up to 1024 x 600 pixels non-HD content, or you can boost it up to 1366 x 768 pixels for HD format.

Kohjinsha Dual screen netbook is running under AMD Athlon MV-40 CPU, 4GB of DDR2, SATA hard drive and you will get Windows 7 instead of Vista.

The sliding mechanism of Kohjinsha dual screen netbook is a little bit different than GScreen. You can actually slide the screen onto the rear side of the primary screen so you can slightly compacting the thickness of the netbook at 1.7-inches as the deepest part.

Kohjinsha has been fully compatible with DirectX 10, but I doubt you can actually run most of the modern 3D games available today. Just like the first launch of GScreen Dual Screen Laptop, this Kohjinsha laptop is also a prototype. No idea when it will be launched as a full usable product.
