I-O Data Has Jump Onto The USB 3.0 Bandwagon
After the new standard releases, more and more manufacturer has stepped into the standard producing USB 3.0 devices. Recently, I-O Data has also jumped into this bandwagon by introducing three hardware to support USB 3.0.
The first hardware is a hard drive (HDJ-UT), a USB 3.0 hard drive promises faster transfer rate at 139 MB/s, backward compatibility with USB 2.0, available in two size of 1TB ($231) and 1.5TB($279) capacity. This hard drive is dubbed as HDJ-UT and weigh in 1.6kg.
The rest of them are expansion cards, one for PCIe x1 slot (USB3-PEX) and the other is for ExpressCard (USB3-EXC). Those cards carries price tag of $69 and $93, respectively.
