You may have heard and seen the Laptop armor (Vyper XS3 Laptop Sleeve). Now, here is the version for desktop PC, where it is a chassis, a very sturdy armor-like chassis that looks like a stronghold instead of a PC case.

Known as the IRONCLAD from In Win, this new Full-tower case is featuring:

  • 5 ¼” external bays,
  • one 3 ½” external bay (converted from one 5 ¼” bay)
  • six 3 ½” internal bays
  • one 2.5” internal bay
  • eight slots for expansion cards
  • two eSATA ports
  • four USB 2.0 ports
  • one FireWire port and audio connectors

For the cooling option, IRONCLAD have three 120mm fans and one 220mm fans located at:

  • one at the front panel
  • one at the rear panel and one at the top panel
  • plus a 220-mm at the side panel

As for water-cooling option, In Win IRONCLAD is fully supporting the need and there are four pre-drilled holes for water-cooling tubings, for two independent loops. Similar to most of high-end PC case, IRONCLAD features tool-less mechanisms and making hard drive and expansion cards installation a piece of cake. No word on pricing and availability.
