NVIDIA Releases GeForce GTX 480 GPU [Fermi]


The latest news on the Graphical chipset is released by NVIDIA. They have just released their super high-end graphic card GeForce GTX 480, which also tagging the name Fermi that previously rumored as the GPU that can render a life-like 3D images/animation. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 Graphic card, by far has supported DirectX 11 and claimed to be 10% – 20% faster that the current AMD 5870 GPU.

At the core clock speed of 700MHz, 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 1.85GHz, there is no known benchmarking yet to test whether the life-like rendering is possible. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 GPU will run on 250W power, and it will be released on April 2010 carrying $499 price tag.
