Sony released another series of Walkman known as the Sony Ericsson Spiro and Ericsson Zylo apart from their waterproof walkman yesterday.
Sony Ericsson Spiro and Ericsson Zylo is considered as mid-range walkmans, mixed up with cell phone functionality. Both Walkman models support dual-band HSPA and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (3G enabled for Zylo). The focus on these to provide an exceptional audio experience and quality.
Sony Ericsson Zylo has supported HD FLAC audio format, which provides high-quality lossless audio codec to deliver the best sound experience with Clear Audio Technology. Zylo has a 2.6-inch TFT QVGA screen and scratch-resistant surface.
Meanwhile, Sony Ericsson Spiro has a slightly lower specs. It has got a compact slider with dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 2MP camera. The screen is also smaller at 2.2-inch QVGA TFT screen, but it provides a memory card slot supporting up to 16GB microSD card.
Both Walkmans should hit the store in Q3 this year with undisclosed price.
