GPNC Korea has official released the world’s first Android LED Backlit TV. Known as the ‘Ledroi HD‘ The Android LED Backlit TV is scheduled to be available in 10 countries, including Dubai, Australia, Poland, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. There are three models will be shipped, 42-inch, 47-inch and 55-inch as the largest model. They will come installed with Google Android 1.5 Cupcake and it’s upgradable to newer OS when it has become available through the net.
I’m certainly impress by the looks and feels. The GPNC Android PC is almost borderless, only a slight thin lines with a thicker border at the bottom for the branding.
Our TV is powered by an ARM base Cortex 8A CPU at 833Mhz, will let you surf the web and watch TV at the same time and let you enjoy all functionalities offers by Android from your Sofa on a nice 55” TV.
Other specs includes several USB port, HDMI, S-Video, D-Sub, DVI, Component… AS well as being ATSC / DVB-T / DVB-C / DVB-T HD Analog: NSTC, PAL / SECAM
No idea when it will be available globally and when is the exact date to hit US market. I have tried to visit their website at GPNC.com but it’s marked as a dangerous site either if you are surfing with IE8, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. So I won’t refer you there to avoid unwanted experience.
