As the iPad popularity is soaring to the roof of the tablet market, a lot of its competitor is trying to make their own style of tablet PC to compete with the new monster baby. One of them is HP Slate that looks very promising, and another one that is just entered the market is the WePad Slate tablet.
WePad Slate Tablet is a stronger tablet device compared to iPad (and slightly better than HP Slate) because it has been powered by 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail Processor. It also has a larger screen at 11.6-inch (allow you to view 1366 x 768) touch display, 32GB flash storage with SD card slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, has 1.3MP webcam, two USB 2.0 ports, and optional 3G connectivity.
From the specification, you’ll know that WePad Slate Tablet is far better than iPad. The tablet PC is also available in two model, the WiFi-only that sell on $610, 3G+WiFi model that score for $775. The only major drawback of this tablet PC is the battery life of 6 hours continuous operation, as well as the device is actually heavier than iPad and HP Slate.
