HP Compaq Airlife 100 is a smartbook running with Android 2.1 OS from Google. But it’s quite unique to hear that a netbook-like smartbook coming not with Intel Atom processor, but with Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8250 processor.
It’s practically an advanced cell phone with the shape of a netbook computer, but you cannot make a call with it. HP Compaq Airlife 100 Android Smartbook carrying 512MB of Flash memory, 16GB of SSD, 28Whr battery type, it should be able to work continuously for about 5-10 hours (consider iPad can work for 10 hours with its 25Whr battery).
HP Compaq Airlife 100 has 10.1-inch backlite TFT screen, capable of display up to 1024 x 600 pixels resolution with 16-bit color only. However, the screen is a resistive touchscreen that you can use stylus with it.
For supporting your online lifestyle, HP Compaq Airlife 100 has to offer the support of POP3 and iMAP email, calendar, contacts, an alarm clock, and a camcorder application (much more with Android Apps).
