Dell Lightning Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Leaked

Dell is aggressive? Nope, they are fierce! The smartphone market will be crushed if Dell keep releasing a new phone that looks very cool and with strong specs. After a series of Android Phones rolled out of Dell’s sleeves (plus the Looking Glass Tablet PC, too!), Dell has squeezed out (a leaked actually) another super cool looking slider touch phone called Dell Lightning.

Dell Lightning is not another Android OS powered smartphone. It will be running under Window’s latest OS for mobile phone, the Windows 7 OS. Dell Lightning Windows Phone 7 has a large display panel at 4.1-inch WVGA OLED touchscreen display, but you can slide-out a good portrait QWERTY keyboard that hidden beneath the screen.

For performance, you can find 1GHz Qualcomm processor on Dell Lightning. It should be able to run many apps but we have no idea if the Windows Phone 7 can multitask or not. Dell Lightning has been equipped with five megapixel camera with integrated autofocus, too. You would also found WiFi, GPS, bluetooth, Accelerometer, digital compass, a Proximity sensor, FM Tuner and Full Flash support available on Dell Lightning.

How about the storage? It will 1GB of flash with 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on a MicroSD card (non-user-replaceable, Engadget‘s assuming)

Apart from the data above, there is no more details on this Windows Phone 7 series from Dell. However, SlashPhone predicted Dell Lightning should be available some time Q4 of 2010 with undisclosed pricing. Too bad.
