Instead of rolling out just another portable hard drive, PQI is introducing two new Portable Solid State Drives codenamed as S533-E and S532-E. These two Portable SSDs has an unique connection where you can either connect it via USB to your PC externally or using SATA II interface for internal connection to your desktop PC. Both Model has come with turboflash USB software where it can enhanced the speed and performance significantly.
One of the most obvious feature they have is the shock proof capability. SSDs known as the most sturdy storage device because it’s based on memory chip interface, not a rotary platter disc. The best of all, one of the model (S533-E) has support USB 3.0 interface. The Portable SSD can speeding on 250MB/s read and up to 86MB/s write speed. You can find S533-E in both 80GB and 160GB with undisclosed pricing.
Meanwhile, the lower end model (S532-E) uses USB 2.0 only. But it still has that SATA II mode so you can still achieve a reasonable speed when uses internally. For the default transfer speed, PQI S532-E can gives you 195MB/s read and 40MB/s write speeds. PQI S532-E coming in one size of 40GB only. The pricing is also unknown.
