The VAIO series in Sony has really been growing complicated lately. Although a lot of new series has been introduced, and even the existing model is getting refreshed with even more new series. The example is the VAIO E-series. After unveiled as the first series with florescent color selections, the VAIO E series has been expanded to VAIO EA and VAIO EC series.
So what’s the difference? According to the specification, Sony VAIO EA has 14-inch screen while Sony VAIO EC has 17.3-inch. This is the most obvious distinction between this two new models. Other than that, you can find the Core i3 350M CPU, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium, onboard HDMI pot, Blu-ray drive (optional), Chiclet keyboard, Instant-On OS on both model.
Both models are available for pre-order today, but you’ve to wait until July 2010 for the shipment.
