iPhone 4 owners can take the advantage of this prototype to turn their iPhone 4 (or the past generation iPhone and iPhone 3GS) into a DSLR camera. The creator iPhoneDSLR.com has done a great job pairing up the iPhone with DSLR lens using a solid piece of anodized billet aluminum as the ‘bridge’ between the iPhone 4 and the lens.
According to the creator, iPhone 4 now has a greater 5-MP camera for still image capture and it has been equipped with LED flash and can record HD video. That’s why there is a possibility to get an even better image quality by pairing up with a DSLR Lens.
Currently, iPhoneDSLR prototype can host Canon EF lenses only. However, the creator has shed some lights that the future-prototype will be able to use Nikon and M42 lenses too!
