Microsoft is going to update their Xbox 360 controller to both better suit the Xbox 360 Slim console and makeover the D-Pad which has received bunch of complaints in the past. They’ve made an official announcement, and the revised version of Xbox 360 controller is going to hit the US market in this November (after Kinect controller lauching date), and it will arrive at UK market on February 2011.
“The engineers have come up with an ingenious solution with a d-pad that can go from a plus to a disc with the twist of the wrist”, said Major Nelson on his website. “In addition to the new d-pad, the matte silver controller also features concave analog sticks and gray A,B,X,Y buttons for added style”.
This Xbox 360 controller is going to cost $64 in the US of A, but there is no pricing details yet for UK. The updated Xbox 360 controller is going to be available together with the new Play & Charge Kit that will launch on November 9th, 2010.
