CalDigit AV Drive USB 3.0 and FireWire 800 Drives Releases For Mac and PC

CalDigit, a practically new company for our ear has just launched their first dual interface (USB 3.0 and FireWire 800) AV Drive for both Mac OSX and PC Windows 7.

The CalDigit AV Drive is hard drive storage featuring SuperSpeed PCI Express card that you can use it on your laptop to add the USB 3.0 functionality, and the AV Drive also featuring a fast spinning 7,200RPM hard drive to get the optimum transfer speed.

CalDigit AV Drive also Time Machine-ready, which mean you can make it as your Apple iMac or other system’s fast backup support, and AV Drive also capable of doing carbon copy cloner, and it has an intuitive RAID tools. There is an optional rack mount kit available for CalDigit AV drive. In case you want to mount three of the AV drive together, you can use this mount kit to reach the goal.

CalDigit AV Drive is now available in 1TB and 2TB for $199 and $299, respectively.
