Acer, being the best PC manufacturer in Asia is not planning to lose in the fight with Toshiba Libretto the Dual touchscreen netbook that looks very promising. Acer is rumored to be working on their own dual screen notebook and some of the images has been leaked around the blogosphere. Have a look below for more details:
The Acer’s version of dual screen notebook is all about the convenient of a touchscreen display. Both side is touchable, with one of the being acted as the keyboard for typing. I’m not one of the touchscreen-haters, so I can safely say that the prototype of this Acer dual screen notebook is very interesting. According to our source, this prototype of Acer Dual screen notebook is powered by Intel Core i5 2.66GHz CPU, and looks like it’s running sweetly with the Windows 7 OS.
The virtual keyboard layout is definite 100% full size, together with a virtual trackpad with two mouse buttons. It’s weird though, if it’s fully touchscreen, why Acer still add the trackpad while user can fully interact with the icons on the screen. But I still can’t judge anything out of this prototype. No idea when Acer is going to officially announced this new product.
