Being an old player in display market, Sony is not going to stay still looking at their competition rolling out paper-thing display prototype. They’ve also shown of their new prototype, which is a super thin electronice paper display that is flexible and bendable in Japan.
Unlike any other electronic paper displays you’ve ever heard about, this Sony’s e-Paper display prototype is using plastic substrate instead of glass substrate to give more flexibility, lighter, stronger and sturdier.
Looks pretty promising, but the prototype offers no specification at all. It’s still a long way to go though… Can’t really hope much from a prototype.
