Up until now, Microsoft Kinect is introducing their game and game-play with the gamers in standing position. Now question arises asking whether the device could detect gamers on the coach/seated gamers or not.
At first, it appear this new Microsoft toy is not getting such a feature. However, latest new update has enable Kinect to detect gamers in seated position and could be implemented to some games such as racing or flight simulator.
Well, even it’s not yet released, Microsoft keeps improving their new accessory for their legendary console. Blitz Games Studio co-founder and CTO Andrew Oliver also confirmed it to Eurogamer.
“It means that should the bottom of your torso get confused with the sofa, because your bum and your legs are enveloped inside the sofa, it doesn’t matter because your hands and arms are still working.”
However, the major downside is that all Kinect-games that has been scheduled for release on November 4th won’t get this feature. It’s only available on the upcoming game releases that aim for the gamers who want to do their game on the coach (for hand exercising only – not the entire body).
