Logitech Revue Google TV Set-Top-Box Tear Down

Logitech Revue has been outed for some times now, even though it’s not so popular like iPad or Macbook Air, It sure took some time for iFixIt guys to grab one and looks what’s inside.

After opening the glossy shell, the tear-down expert at iFixIt found out an interesting fact. It appears that Logitech Revue is not just the usual Set-top Box that you can find elsewhere. Logitech is actually a computer system powered by 1.2GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, and a very minimum but sufficient 5GB NAND Flash storage.

Never guess it would turn out like this, right? I’ve never thought Logitech Revue is a PC in disguise. If you are interested to know more about the internal parts of Logitech Revue, you can head on over to iFixIt website.

I love the sleek design. Hardly takes up any space at all and fits perfectly with the rest of my home theater equipment. Also as a DISH Network employee I know that DISH subscribers can get the box at a discounted price of 179$.
