Western Digital has just added new piece of great gadget for home entertainment. It’s a WD TV Live Hub, a media player with built in 1TB of storage, large enough to let you store handfuls of Full HD 1080p videos and other media files. The beauty of this WD TV Live Hub is that you can directly connect it to your big screen TV, and playback the files with no much hassles.
The TV Live Hub media player supports plethora of file formats, including:
- Video – AVI (Xvid, AVC, MPEG1/2/4), MPG/MPEG, VOB, MKV (h.264, x.264, AVC, MPEG1/2/4, VC-1), TS/TP/M2T (MPEG1/2/4, AVC, VC-1), MP4/MOV (MPEG4, h.264), M2TS, WMV9

Aside from the capability as a media player, this baby can be hooked with your home network and become a network streaming machine, too! Notice in the following picture, there is a Gigabit ethernet provided, as well as any other connection including HDMI 1.4, USB 2.0, Component and RCA port.
The device will be able to share in your network over DLNA or UPnP and it could be connected to Android devices and iOS-powered devices like iPhone and iPad.
Western Digital TV live Hub is going to sell for $200, and it should be available soon in worldwide store.
