Logitech has announced their new solar powered wireless keyboard dubbed as K750. This green keyboard is the first solar powered keyboard that we have ever found. It is just 0.33 inch thick, and it has a nice glossy design with curved keys (concave key cap design) to let fingers rest properly and make typing feels good.
Logitech K750 Wireless Solar Keyboard has an internal rechargeable battery that can be recharged by a dime light, so there is no need to expose it to the direct sun light at all. Well, it’s better and faster in recharging the built-in battery if you can exposed it to the sun light. But it’s not necessary to do so in order to recharge the battery. Just put it on your desk, lit up your desk lamp and it should start generating green power to rejuicing the keyboard.
The keyboard is using the usual 2.4GHz wireless technology to hook up your computer (via an unifying receiver), and it left small footprint because it’s created with PVC-free construction to the fully recyclable box. Logitech K750 wireless solar keyboard has also coming with a dedicated Logitech Solar App to monitor how much power you are getting from a desk lamp light and knowing how much power left in the battery.
Logitech K750 Wireless Solar Keyboard will cost $80 (GBP69.99) and it’s now available for pre-order at Logitech.
