Beside Sanyo ICR-PS401RM Xacti Sound Recorder, Sanyo also added another Xacti Sound Recorder that codenamed as ICR-PS515RM.
So what’s special in this new model? Instead of using the same high performance dual microphone technology, this ICR-PS515RM Xacti Sound recorder has 3-WAY X-Y rotation microphone that you can adjust the direction and it has high-quality sound recording with low-frequency compensation.
Notice there is a slider notch at the to side with the two adjustable microphones properly hidden inside the case. The audio recording will be directly converted into WAV or MP3 formats. For playback, Sanyo ICR-PS515RM linear PCM recorder supports WAV, MP3 and WMA files format.
A better specs than the ICR-PS401RM is the built-in memory. Sanyo ICR-PS515RM Xacti Sound Recorder has 8GB internal storage, expandable via microSD/SDHC (up to 16GB) and it only uses single AAA battery to power up the entire recorder.
Sanyo ICR-PS515RM Xacti sound recorder will be available in Japan starting on November 28th.
