Aside from their good business on selling millions of iPad tablet, Apple is also doing good on their MacBook sales. It’s reported that Apple is shipping more than 1 million units of Macbook each month regularly, with 20 – 25% of the number are occupied by the new MacBook Air that was just launched few week ago.
That is super amazing and it’s no wonder why Apple’s dare to bought HP Campus in Cupertino, making Apple the largest landholder in that area.
The sources cited IDC’s figures and pointed out that Apple’s combined shipments for the first three quarters of 2010 reached about 6.88 million units, and its global notebook market share rose from 3.7% in the first quarter to 5.2% in the third, while its market share in the US market surged from 6.7% to 12.6%.
That’s the record for 2010 alone. Apple is going to get a better revenue stream in 2011 because lots of new updates are going to be released, such as the iPhone, iPad 2, OS X Lion.
