MSI WindPad U100W Windows 7 Tablet

Over at France, MSI will launch their WindPad U100W Windows 7 tablet in the next month for 550 Euros or equal to $730 USD. This Windows 7 based tablet has a netbook size display at 10-inch, fully touchscreen, and come installed with MSI custom wind Touch User Interface.

Specification wise, MSI WindPad U100W tablet is installed with Intel Atom Z530 1.66GHz processor, 2GB or RAM, 32GB SSD, has two USB ports, one HDMI output port, and webcam. $730 price mark is pretty expensive for a tablet with netbook-like specification.

  • I’m happy to see more Windows 7 Tablet PC devices being released. I hope this is a clue to application developers to release versions of their products that are fully touch compatible. Microsoft as potential to make a dent in Apple’s market share if they can deliver.
