So we have got a new tablet in the market. What? Another one? Well, 2011 should be the golden age for tablet booming. It’s been expected since 2009 that in 2010-2012, lots of companies will be sailing their ship to this direction. OpenPeak is one of them, and they’ve jump on the tablet bandwagon by creating their one 4G tablets that rely completely on Intel’s Atom CPU instead of any Qualcomm or Tegra processor.
For the 4G module, OpenPeak has used Ericsson F5521gw broadband module that support HSPA Evolution at 21Mbps for download speed and 5.7Mbps upload speed.
The benefits of OpenPeak 4G OpenTablets is the easy integration with OpenPeak’s OpenServices to provide powerful Device Management Control through OpenPeak’s cloud services platform and device management system.
This OpenTablets also featuring multi-user interface where the tablet can be used by more than one user with different login and profile details. This include the account own applications, wallpapers, security options and passwords.
There is no information on the availability yet. But we hope it could make its surface in this 2011 before something “better” come into the market.
