Kingston has announced two new secure flash drives for enterprise and business customers which have been dubbed as DataTraveler 4000 and DataTraveler Vault – Privacy Managed.
What’s great in these two flash drive is the unequaled military-grade encryption functionality. The flash drive has FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validated for the entire cryptographic module, and it uses SafeConsole server software to centralize all USB activity control (for Privacy Managed model).
Aside from its security module, the Privacy Managed drive has advanced security features like password control, file audit logs, restrictor options and many more. Both flash drive will be available later in this year, with the DataTraveler 4000 comes in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB versions starting at $75, while The managed drive comes in 2GB, 4Gb, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.[via slashgear]
