Leapfrog, a company that makes electronic educational toys has manufactured their own LeapPad Explorer tablet that is designed for kids. It’s similar with InnoPad from Vtech, LeapPad is made for educational purpose to introduced the latest tablet technology to kids early in their education phase.
The LeapPad Explorer doesn’t seems to be equipped with 3G for internet connection, nor WiFi or any other wireless/wired connectivity to protect the children from accessing blocked content in the web. Specification wise, Leapfrog LeapPad has 5-inch touchscreen that allow kids to read story books, do their drawing, play some interactive games, learn reading, writing and arithmetic.
LeapFrog also allow kids to record video of their own via the built-in camera on the LeapPad. There is a cool mini animation studio App inside the tablet that kids can have fun with their recorded video.
Price-wise, LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer tablet is going to cost $99.99 in this Summer.
