Philips Announces WiFi Multiroom HiFi, Harmony iPod/DVD HiFI and Fidelio SoundSphere AirPlay Speakers

Philips has announced three new music entertainment systems, including the WiFi Multiroom HiFi, Harmony Component HiFi with DVD/iPod dock, and Fidelio SoundSphere wireless speaker system.



For details, WiFi Multiroom HiFi system packed with wireless connectivity and USB access to portable media like extrnal hard drive. You can choose to have an integrated color LCD touchscreen for navigation, or use iOS/Android remote apps on your cell phone to controller the HiFi system.



Philips Harmony Component HiFi is different. It’s has no WiFi to share. But it has got a USB support, DVD slot and integrated iPod/iPhone dock. Also, you will get 2 x 80watt RMS class-D digital amp as well.



Last but not least, the most unique new series called Philips Fidelio SoundSphere is a egg shaped speaker system that support WiFi for streaming Apple music over AirPlay. It’s a wireless speakers with one rounded dock for iphone or iPad. Especially on this Fidelio SoundSphere, it has got its pricing set firm on €799 ($1,115) and will be released in May 2011. How about the other two? Well, there is no mention about their availability and pricing yet.
