Sony is going to make a great upgrade of their PS3 system after their 3D updates in firmware 3.50. Sony will release firmware v3.60 today that has a special Cloud Saving feature exclusive for PlayStation Plus Subscribers.
So what’s this Cloud Saving all about? According to Sony’s explanation, this new services will allow current PlayStation Plus subscribers to backup their game saves directly to a cloud server. Sony has provided 150MB storage size for each subscriber, where user can use it to backup up to 1,000 save files.
Of course, you still can’t save your games directly to the cloud saving server yet. However, future game releases will be coming complete with the function for PlayStation Plus subscribers to save directly to online server instead on their local machine.
