Toshiba has finally revealing their 10.1-inch Android tablet with more information and where to pre-order one. After their teaser that was released back in January 2011, we have come to know that this Toshiba 10.1-inch is having a high resolution display at 1280 x 800 and unique 16:10 aspect ratio. More information has been added like the CPU will be using NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core mobile processor, 5-megapixels rear camera with autofocus and 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
Another interesting feature is on the display technology. Toshiba 10.1-inch Android Honeycomb tablet is coming with an unique Adaptive Display Technology that could automatically adjust the screen’s brightness and color based on the environment’s lighting. It also has a feature like Pixel Qi e-paper display where you can actually read the text or view the image in direct sunlight!
Other special features of Toshiba 10.1-inch Android tablet has included a sound enhanced stereo speakers, unique non-slip interchangeable rubber back cover, replaceable rechargeable battery, and it has included interfaces like mini USB port, USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, SD card slot, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It sounds like a great tablet that could be a great Motorola Xoom alternative. Its performance is untested yet, but we are sure it should go in the same level as the top performing tablets in the market.
