As the leading display manufacturer, Sharp has invented a new display technology to improve their RGBY (Red Green Blue Yellow) display. Known as Quattron Quad Pixel Technology, this piece of new tech was first introduced in CES 2011 on Sharp LE820 HDTV, but recently it’s been tipped with more detail info and pricing details.
It’s been stated that Sharp LE820 HDTV will be coming with edge LED lighting, built-in WiFi connectivity, coming in size between 40-inch to 60-inch, has application like Netflix, Vudu and CinemaNow pre-installed.
