There are two type of news about Breaking a history. It’s either selling very bad, or selling amazingly good. We are not talking about the bad side here even in Japan the trends of 3DS seems to going down pretty fast. Despite of what has happened in Japan, the Nintendo 3DS launch in US is very successful. Nintendo has stating that “U.S. day-one sales numbers for Nintendo 3DS were the highest of any Nintendo hand-held system in our history.“, which sounds like they are making big bucks here in the US, for now. There is no actual number suggested here yet as they will reveal the number on April 14th, 2011.
Of course, Since the market in US is still premature, I believe soon people who bought 3DS will start noticing problems with the 3D screen. I believe the dizziness syndrome isn’t for the Asian only. It’s a kind widespread issue on all human eyes that we ‘will’ feel the dizziness when our eyes are forced to see two different images at once simultaneously. It’s time to wait and see what is the US market’s response to the problem faced by Japanese users. Will the West people get the same dizziness, too? Will the dizziness prevent the gamers in US from enjoy the revolutionary 3D handheld games?
