Huawei has got a nice concept phone design by Claesson Koivisto Rune in a form of a bent cell phone with foldable OLED screen. We are not sure how this phone perform as it’s just another conceptual phone, but the designer of this Huawei Leaf is trying to put “a design that re-engages with a more simplified and intuitive notion of communication and that sidesteps the functional hyperbole of many smart phone devices.”
The Head of Concept Creations at Huawei, Stefan Munther comments “We wanted to reach the delicate balance of a classical mobile phone but with no compromise on design and quality. It is our aim to launch the industry’s first truly design-driven phone that is accessible to all.”
So this leaf phone shouldn’t be all about its functionality as a phone, but also has a natural blend with ascetic touches. Though it looks cool, I can’t stop thinking that such a phone will be eliminated by the growing in demand tablet devices.
