When you are searching for a new tablet to support your work, there are two most favorable choices in the market when it come to the performance. You can choose either the NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC powered model or go for the growing mightier Broadcom dual core processor. Unlike in the past, we often mentioned about “Intel CPU” when looking for a good system. It seems Intel has been left out by the market, especially on the tablet market. To ‘troubleshoot’ this, Intel has finally come up with their own tablet processor to bring back their fame. Known as Inteal Atom Z670, this processor is the latest Oak Trail processor built using 45mm manufacturing process and support up to 1.5GHz and 1080p video playback with the help of Intel GMA 600 built-in GPU.
The benefits of Intel Atom Z670 Oak Trail Processor is the low power consumption processing, longer battery life and it’s capable of running without any cooling fan at all. That is the reason that Atom Z670 is suitable for small and thin device like tablet or mini computer. Intel even promises that we can see up to 35 innovative tablet and hybrid designs in this 2011 through several brands like Fujitsu, Lenovo, Viliv, etc. We are interested to see if Intel can really bring back their name in the tablet world or not.
