BlackBerry has released two new Bold series phones, which have been dubbed as 9900 and 9930 or also known as the Bold Touch. Both are QWERTY phones like usual, but they’ve got some powerful when comparing to their predecessors. Both will be running BlackBerry OS 7, 2.8-inch touchscreen, 1.2GHz processor, has 5-megapixels camera that can shoot 720p video and store it on its built-in 8GB onboard memory.
As for the difference between Bold 9900 and Bold 9930, the former is capable of connecting to 4G network via HSPA+ connectivity, while the latter is RIM’s first dual-band CDMA and quad-band GSM combo handset.
Apart from the better specification, I found out that Blackberry is pretty ‘lazy’ in updating their phone’s look and feel. I can still strongly feeling the old-school facelift on this new version of handset.
