Motorola XOOM Getting Android 3.1 HoneyComb OS Update This Week

After Google announced that they will be releasing a new update for their HoneyComb OS, which is the Android 3.1 in Google I/O conference, Motorola has also taking this chance to announced that they will roll out the HoneyComb 3.1 OS update on this week for their XOOM tablet. Users on Verizon Wireless network is eligible for direct over-the-air update when the update has been released.

According to our source, this HoneyComb 3.1 update will bring the support of Android Market Movie Rentals service, full support of Flash 10.2, the widget is now resizable, new Picture Transfer Protocol features for easy photo file transferring to PC without drivers, and the new HoneyComb 3.1 has expanded its bluetooth feature to support headsets in Google Talk video chats.
